About The Position
The position is for a Radiologic Technologist at the New Surgery Center, located within one mile of Gulf Coast Medical Center. This is a full-time role on the first shift, with a pay rate ranging from $26.25 to $34.12 per hour. Eligible candidates can receive up to $17,900.00 in additional compensation. The primary responsibilities include performing diagnostic radiology imaging, which encompasses routine, mobile, OR, fluoroscopy, and emergency procedures. The technologist must comply with State and Federal regulations regarding radiation usage and safety, evaluate and determine the quality of diagnostic images, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Additionally, the role involves participating in staff and student orientation and training, providing safe patient care, and working collaboratively with all customers to enhance satisfaction for employers, patients, and physicians. The position may also require transporting non-narcotic medications as directed and participating in an on-call rotation as needed by the department.
