About The Position

Pulse MD Urgent Care is looking for full time, part time and per diem x-ray technologists to join our team in our Briarcliff and Mohegan Lake offices. We are an Urgent Care facility that is open Sunday through Saturday 8am-8pm. Candidate must be flexible and available to work some weekends. Must be ARRT certified in New York State Experience preferred but will train the right candidate Obtains pertinent clinical information including the patient’s complaint, health history and measurement of vital signs Prepares patient for examination Assists providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments Assists the Provider and front office staff to facilitate flow through the clinic in a timely and appropriate fashion Maintains proficiency in all areas by attending inservice training as required Maintains CPR certification Performs X-rays ordered by the Provider to help diagnose a variety of medical problems Prepares radiographic equipment Accurately captures the requested diagnostic image by setting the equipment to obtain the best density, detail and contrast of the area being imaged Stores and maintains radiographic images according to clinic protocol Assists patients by copying or transferring x-ray images for use by their PCP or specialty physician Wears appropriate RAD badge at all times

Requirements

  • Must be ARRT certified in New York State
  • Candidate must be flexible and available to work some weekends
