About The Position
The Radiology Tech-PRN position involves performing a variety of technical tasks in the field of radiology. The role requires competency in various areas including IV and contrast administration, orthopedic radiology, pediatric radiology, operating room radiology, trauma radiology, GI radiology, outpatient and inpatient diagnostic radiology, myelography, and arthrography. The technician will operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as specified by physicians, ensuring proper exposure and adherence to radiation safety procedures. Responsibilities also include preparing medical supplies, explaining procedures to patients, positioning patients for imaging, monitoring equipment, assisting physicians during examinations, and maintaining a clean work area.
