Fauquier Health’s Medical Imaging Department offers a full range of screening, diagnostic, and interventional imaging procedures using advanced technology. Our team plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care across multiple departments, proudly supporting our 24/7 Emergency Department, Inpatient and Outpatient Units, and the Operating Room.

  • Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Follows AIDET model to consistently achieve highest quality of patient satisfaction.
  • Performs timely, accurate quality control testing as required by the imaging system manufacturer and accrediting agencies.
  • Manages and utilizes C-Arm X-ray equipment for use during surgical procedures.
  • Assists with collection and transport of surgical specimens to Imaging.
  • Applicants should be ARRT (R) registered or registry eligible in Radiologic Technology.
  • Should have completed an accredited two-year program in Radiologic Technology.
  • If registry eligible at time of hire, must pass registry exam within 6 months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 7 days of hire.
