About The Position

As Radiology Technologist at Tampa Urgent Care, you will produce and evaluate radiological images to assist the radiologist with timely interpretation of these images for the treatment of patients. You will adhere to image specific policies related to quality and safety established by Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and regulatory and accreditation governing bodies. The role requires analytical skills for determining technical factors for proper exposure levels and practical knowledge of various DR fixed and portable imaging equipment, as well as computer skills including PACS and RIS.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of Radiography program from an AMA accredited Radiography program.
• Florida State Radiography License.
• ARRT registered.
• Current Basic Life Support, AHA.

Responsibilities

• Produces and evaluates radiological images to assist the radiologist.
• Adheres to image specific policies related to quality and safety.
• Demonstrates analytical skills for determining technical factors for proper exposure levels.
• Provides medical administrative support, including registering incoming patients.
• Takes vital signs and rooms patients promptly and efficiently.
• Efficiently turns patient rooms over for the next patient.
• Performs point of care testing as ordered by the provider.
• Leaves area ready for the next patient day at the end of shift.
• Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team.
