The Radiology Technologist Per Diem will prepare the patient for the radiographic procedure, obtain pertinent clinical information such as the possibility of pregnancy and history of allergies, prepare and operate imaging equipment, and ensure the proper level of supplies are stocked in the assigned room on a daily basis. The technologist will accurately produce radiographs that are able to be adequately interpreted by the Radiologist, assist the Radiologist during invasive and interventional procedures practicing proper sterile technique, document in the patient's chart, and oversee Student Radiologic Technologist's activities when a student is assigned to the same work area.
