We are looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our Orthopedics Team! In this position, you will perform clinical responsibilities including biohazard waste monitoring; quality control methods; and provide technical radiological services as requested by the patient's physician to assist in the diagnoses of disease, injury, and/or the detection of foreign bodies through performance of radiographic procedures, including, but not limited to, chests, abdomens, and extremities. You will operate all imaging equipment in the prescribed manner to provide high-quality diagnostic images, including utilizing proper technique, proper positioning of the patient for the procedure, collimating, shielding, use of lead markers, and the immobilization of the patient using instruction and/or equipment developed for this purpose. Additionally, you will provide pre-exam instructions, verify patient/caregiver understanding of instructions, maintain patient history files by utilizing the Paragon system, and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), scan patient reports, maintain film files, copy requested images for release, and obtain x-ray reports.
