About The Position

Following established protocol and under the medical supervision of certified radiologists, Radiologic Technologists will perform procedures for the direct results of interpretation. Technologists will assist the radiologists on procedures as needed and be responsible for supervision of student Radiologic Technologists assigned to them. Requirements

  • Candidates must be interested in earning their Mammo Licensure and transferring into a Mammo Registered position within 6-months from Date of Hire.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and certification in Radiography from South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA); or high school diploma or GED and a certification in Radiography from SCQRSA.
  • Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to perform and teach radiologic exams to produce satisfactory diagnostic images for interpretation.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA and TJC standards and regulations.
  • Responsible for safe operation of radiologic equipment.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals preferred.
