MidSouth Pain Treatment Center, a PartnerCare affiliated company, is seeking a Rad Tech/Limited X-Ray Scope, to join our growing and established practice in Southaven, MS. The Rad Tech is a trained medical professional performing radiological duties in compliance with regulatory and departmental requirements. The Rad Tech will perform radiographic exams, ordered by the physician, that are technically satisfactory, properly positioned and processed adequately. The ideal candidate will have: Performs timely radiology procedures for subsequent evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Performs necessary quality control procedures to ensure quality exams are performed. Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and follows established clinical and regulatory procedures regarding patient safety and care, including proper radiation protection, and shielding techniques. Ensures that equipment is in proper working order and reports any malfunctions to the Manager or provider on duty. Follows documentation procedures and completes required documentation related to patient visit in a timely manner. Assumes responsibility for maintaining and improving diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills with the support and assistance of outside educational resources. Responsible for maintaining current licensure and certification for the facility radiology equipment and licensure. Must be able demonstrate appropriate clinical judgment and apply professional skills to a patient population of all ages. Education and Experience: Certificate or Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology required. State of Tennessee Medical Board X-ray Operators License required. ARRT certified. Active Limited X-ray Machine Operator (LXMO) license or Limited X-ray Scope certification (as required by state regulations). Significant and successful prior x-ray experience is preferred. BLS Certified. Knowledgeable in use of C-arm and certified to perform fluoroscopic procedures About the Practice: MidSouth Pain Treatment Center (MPTC) was founded in 2000, with the goal of addressing the lack of treatment options for pain-related medical issues in rural areas. Requirements
