Diagnostic Imaging at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix is busy, fast paced, and gives you the opportunity to do what you do best: Providing excellent care for patients. Technologists here use state of the art digital imaging equipment to perform over 350 exams per day. Our department supports Diagnostic Imaging services for Inpatients, Outpatients, and Patients in the Ortho/Spine Clinic and the Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic. As a Radiology Technologist you will be joining the Diagnostic Team that will give you the ability to work in all areas of the department. Opportunities to cross train into other modalities are also available. If working in a Level 1 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Transplant Center interests you, then this is your place! This is a full time (40 hours/week), 4x10 hour shift- Friday-Monday 9pm-7;30am There will be a rotation for call and holiday hours. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable. POSITION SUMMARY This position performs prescribed specialized radiographic procedures as directed by following department/facility policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Medical Radiologic Technical Board of Examiners (MRTBE). This position ensures optimal care/treatment to all patient populations that are cared for in an operative setting. The incumbent utilizes specialized training within specific surgical settings and possesses dynamic ability to adapt quickly and professionally, with minimal direction, in accordance with ALARA (“as low as (is) reasonably achievable”) guidelines. Internal customers: All levels of medical imaging and nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: regulatory and health agencies, patients and family members.
