Radiology Technologist III
About The Position
Under the direction of the Director of Imaging Services and in conjunction with the Medical Director, performs various radiologic procedures.â¯These duties include, but are not limited to: monitoring patients during procedures, performing Specialized Radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols, working in various areas and with various equipment.â¯Also assists with QA and QI studies and patient flow coordination.â¯With limited supervision uses independent judgment and necessary skills in obtaining the best diagnostic images.â¯Maintains and monitors equipment operation and calibration.â¯Assists as needed in maintaining relationships with physicians and staff.â¯Assists the Radiologist with procedures sterile technique.â¯Other duties as required.â¯Must work various shifts, weekends and be able to be on call.
Requirements
- Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology
- Minimum three (3) years experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Current Computed Tomography (CT) License, Special procedures
- Curret ARRT
- Current Certified Radiology Tech (CRT) - California Radiologic Health Branch (RHB) Certification
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Must work various shifts, weekends and be able to be on call

- Cath Lab experience preferred
