About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist – Generalist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, patient-centered care, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Graduate of an AMA-accredited Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) program or equivalent
Current New York State licensure
ARRT certification and active registration required
Strong knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
Excellent analytical and technical skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and fluoroscopic examinations , in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients accurately, and ensuring comfort and safety
Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Adhere to radiation safety standards , including ALARA principles, to protect patients, staff, and self
Review images for technical quality and accuracy prior to submission for physician interpretation
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within RIS and EMR systems
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support timely and effective patient care
Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report malfunctions or safety concerns
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and regulatory requirements
Assist with patient mobility and transfers as needed during imaging procedures
