About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist – Generalist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, technically proficient, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Graduate of an AMA-accredited Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) program or equivalent
Current New York State Radiologic Technologist licensure
ARRT certification with active registration
Strong knowledge of general radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures
Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray and fluoroscopic examinations , in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout the process
Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images
Adhere to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles to protect patients, staff, and self
Review images for technical quality and accuracy prior to submission for physician interpretation
Accurately document patient information and imaging data in RIS and EMR systems
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support efficient and effective patient care
Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report malfunctions or safety concerns
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
Assist with patient mobility and transfers as needed during imaging procedures
