About the position
The Radiology Technologist - Float position at Reliant Medical Group involves providing diagnostic radiology services in a community-based, multi-specialty healthcare environment. The role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring the quality of radiographs, and participating in the clinical care of patients. This position is integral to delivering high-quality patient care and requires flexibility to travel to various locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Routinely provides diagnostic radiology services by operating imaging equipment and other devices as necessary.
- Evaluates radiographs for technical quality and seeks advice when necessary.
- Troubleshoots and problem solves certain factors before calling service.
- Operates all generators and equipment, producing quality radiographs that conform to department standards.
- Shows any cases with suspicious abnormalities to a radiologist.
- Maintains proper solutions in chemistry tanks and monitors processor temperature.
- Communicates any problems with processor equipment.
- Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed.
Requirements
- 2+ years degree in Imaging Technology
- Current CPR certification
- Commonwealth of Massachusetts registered Radiology Technology License
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of various software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
