About The Position

University of Washington Medical Center – Northwest – Radiology has an outstanding opportunity for a Radiology Technologist, CT. Under the direction of a radiologist, the CT Technologist performs COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY examinations accurately, independently, and efficiently. The department offers advanced imaging and diagnostic services, equipped with advanced diagnostic imaging technology. Board-certified radiologists with specialty training in various imaging fields, along with expert imaging technologists, are committed to diagnosing illnesses and injuries quickly and effectively. Radiology Services at UW Medical Center - Northwest offers routine radiology, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and interventional radiology. UW Medical Center is an acute care hospital in Seattle with two campuses, Montlake and Northwest, and is nationally ranked in six specialties. The Northwest campus provides emergency, inpatient, and outpatient medical, surgical, and therapeutic care on a 44-acre campus. Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training program in an AMA approved school; registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR equivalent education/experience
  • Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities

  • Prepares patient and independently performs CT exams & procedures
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment
  • Coordinates and optimizes customer service and workflow
  • Set up and clean exam rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready
  • Assist with training and mentoring new personnel and students
