About The Position

Join our team, at St. Joe's, a hospital that has proudly achieved its fourth Magnet designation. New Grads will be considered POSITION SUMMARY: Assists physicians with performance of invasive cardiac procedures, serving as a radiologic technologist and/or scrub assistant, performing hemodynamic monitoring and procedural charting. Assists in the care, transportation and preparation of patients.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures as acquired through completion of 2 years training in an approved school of radiologic technology required.
  • General computer knowledge.
  • Licensed in Radiology by the State of Illinois Division of Nuclear Safety (IEMA) -
  • Requires Registry from ARRT
  • CPR certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Successful completion of EKG arrhythmia course preferred.
  • Successful completion of ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities
