About The Position

The Technologist Assistant at AdventHealth Kissimmee plays a crucial role in supporting technologists during various imaging procedures. Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work with people of various diversities
• Ability to work with patients of all ages

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assists technologists with exams and processes.
• Cleans cassettes and ensures rooms are stocked with adequate supplies.
• Uses functions of computer systems, office equipment, and PACS system.
• Sets up imaging equipment and performs safe procedures on patients of all ages.
• Answers phones using a scripted greeting.
• Transports patients to and from imaging exam rooms and assists them on and off exam tables.
• Identifies safety issues and notifies the supervisor.
• Operates equipment safely and adheres to infection control standards.
• Maintains knowledge of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
• Attends department meetings and performs other assigned duties.
