About The Position

Intermountain Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiology Technologist Assistant to support our Imaging team at Riverton Hospital. In this PRN role, you will assist technologists in preparing patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their safety, comfort, and a smooth workflow throughout the department.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for Healthcare Providers.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in patient care or customer service.
• IV Certification (may not be required at all locations).

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective patient care under the supervision of a licensed technologist.
• Prepare patients for imaging exams and respond to their needs with empathy and professionalism.
• Assist patients on and off procedure tables and transport them to and from imaging areas.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate relevant information to care teams post-procedure.
• Inspect and maintain transport equipment; report any issues promptly.
• May perform IV insertions upon certification and successful skill validation.
