Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • 2 years of Diagnostic experience required.
  • Must have obtained a performance review rating of Good Performer on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
  • ARRT Certificate.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal.
  • Act 33 with renewal.
  • Act 34 with renewal.
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.

Nice To Haves

  • Diagnostic Technologist-level experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Performs all job responsibilities of a Diagnostic Technologist.
  • Performs or assists Clinical Specialist in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives.
  • Monitors quality control activities and demonstrates advanced-level knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging.
  • Demonstrates competency in specialty equipment (O.R., Fluoro Procedures, etc.) and analyzes data promptly.
  • Performs electrocardiograms and lab draw functions, if applicable.
  • Demonstrates the ability to function independently, and is able to cover off-shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, where applicable, while continually communicating with lead and management team.
  • Participates in standardization activities with system-level workgroups.
  • Works directly with Radiologists regarding protocol development.
  • Assist with the training of staff and student technologists.
