About The Position

Responsibilities: · Follows system-wide standards and fulfills assigned duties. · Trains staff and student technologists. · Operates specialized equipment (e.g., O.R., fluoro) and performs EKGs/lab draws as needed. · Works independently, including off-shifts, on-call, and satellite coverage; communicates with leads and management. · Monitors quality control and delivers patient care using current imaging protocols. · Supports system-wide standardization initiatives. · Performs core duties of a Diagnostic Tech I. · Assists with QA, regulatory testing, and research efforts. · Collaborates with Radiologists on imaging protocols.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • 2 years Diagnostic experience required.
  • Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
  • ARRT Certificate
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • ARRT certified in Radiography.
  • CPR or BLS Required.
  • CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
  • Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
  • Act 33 with renewal
  • Act 34 with renewal
  • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
