About The Position

PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to contract with a Radiology Technician for Memorial Hospital/Care Center client located in Elgin, ND. Job Summary The Radiology Technician is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality while producing accurate imaging results to support diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree / Diploma in Radiologic Technology or related program required.
  • Clinical experience preferred (new graduates welcome).
  • Willing to train in CT
  • Amenable to work in Rotating Night shifts and holiday calls
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification required or eligible.
  • State Radiologic Technologist License (as applicable).
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
  • Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and computer imaging systems.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, imaging protocols, and radiation safety.
  • High attention to detail and ability to assess image quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and medical team.
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced or high-volume clinical environments.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations (X-rays) using appropriate imaging equipment.
  • Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging based on exam requirements.
  • Verify patient identity and review medical history to ensure proper procedure alignment.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment while adhering to safety and radiation protection standards.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and notify radiologists of any abnormalities.
  • Follow infection control, sterilization, and patient safety procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, records, and imaging data within EMR/PACS systems.
  • Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients during procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Participate in continuing education and periodic training to remain current with imaging protocols and technology.
