About The Position

Mercy Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technician (X-ray Tech) to join our Imaging department. This is a full-time position with day shift hours. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and regulatory standards. The role involves direct interaction with customers to meet their imaging needs and participation in performance improvement and quality control activities. Additionally, the technician will be responsible for processing and transmitting images to the PACS system.

Requirements

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R certification is required.
• Familiarity with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification.
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols and regulations.
• Act as the first line interface with customers to fulfill their imaging needs.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality control activities.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
