About The Position

The Radiology Technologist Trainee Program is for those who are 3-6 months away from graduation, can commit to a minimum of six shifts every six weeks, have an active BLS, are in good standing in a JCERT certified program, and hold an active WA state Radiologic Technician license. This is a per diem position, non-benefit eligible. MultiCare does not cover program costs, CPR certification, testing, or license fees. If offered the position, you will be a per diem employee of MultiCare. Two letters of recommendation will be required for applicants who have not completed clinical rotations with MultiCare Health system. Opportunities are available throughout the Puget Sound Region.

Requirements

• Eligible to take ARRT registry or enrolled in an ARRT accredited program. Must obtain ARRT RT(R) within 12 months of hire.
• Washington State license as X-Ray Technician (XT license) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiography imaging studies under the supervision of department leadership of Imaging Services.
• Follow policies and procedures as you provide patient care activities and any related non-professional services in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients and families.
• Recognize and report patient needs to create a safe and comfortable patient care environment.
• Scope of practice will be limited to exams where proficiency has been demonstrated and within the parameters of licensure.
