About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and directs patient flow from waiting rooms to exam rooms, ensuring they fill out necessary forms.
• Evaluates patient prescriptions to ensure the correct exam is performed based on individual ailments.
• Orders and completes all Cerner functions related to patient care.
• Changes and prepares patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and readiness.
• Assists technologists during exams and provides support to patients, technologists, and radiologists throughout the procedure.
• Retrieves x-rays, medical records, and nuclear medicine reports, and develops radiographs as needed.
• Delivers films to the radiologist for evaluation after procedures.
• Cleans exam rooms post-procedure and restocks materials used during exams.
• Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
