About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Radiology Technician at Verne E. Gibbs Health Center, Poplar, MT This position offers: Full-time opportunity, 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, 8am - 4:30pm in an ambulatory care center Consistent and predictable income Paid vacation and paid sick leave Full complement of benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401k and more. The Position will have the following requirements: Shall possess a degree or diploma from a professional radiology program approved by the legally designated state accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant Shall have 36 months of experience in radiology Shall possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in a state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a Territory of the United States, throughout the term of the contract Shall possess a valid state driver's license throughout the term of employment BLS certification

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Routine exams performed are skull, facial, sinuses, mastoid, spine, trunk, abdomen, chest, and extremities
  • Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative in the application of non-ionizing high frequency ultrasonic waves for disease diagnosis and obstetrical care
  • Exams to include abdominal, renal, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, thyroid, pelvic, and obstetric studies for gestation number, age, anomalies, and general fetal status
  • Notifies attending practitioners of significant scan information requiring his/her immediate attention or visualization.
  • Schedules routine exams to accommodate patient needs and medical status and delivers immediate care to emergency patients
  • Solo responsibility for modern X-Ray equipment
