About The Position

Lovelace Medical Center is seeking a full-time Radiology-A Diagnostic Imaging Technician for an evening shift in Albuquerque, NM. Requirements

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or a graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Program.
ARRT or registry-eligible, Employees employed in or prior to 1972 and licensed by the State of NM are considered grandfathered and exempt from ARRT requirements.
Candidates with a temporary license must obtain a permanent license within one year of hire.
Radiologic Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science Degree.
One (1) year of related experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Perform routine diagnostic imaging procedures in support of the assigned area and as requested by a licensed medical provider.
Responsible for adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety.
May provide clerical support for the assigned department, to include, but not limited to: filing, maintaining records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and entering data into the computer.
