Our team of highly specialized physicians provides comprehensive care for children with fractures, sports injuries, orthopedic conditions, scoliosis, spinal cord conditions, and spine injuries. The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy. Position is per diem; days and weekend days.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
  • Certificate Radiologic Technology Required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Required
  • BLS required

Nice To Haves

  • 2 Years Pediatric Orthopedics Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.
  • Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury.
  • Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.
  • Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
  • Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.
  • Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events.
  • The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
