About The Position

As a Radiology Tech working in our Urgent Injury Clinic in Norwalk, you’ll help our patients get back to living by taking the first step in care, getting x-ray images to figure out what’s wrong! Every day you will work alongside our Urgent Injury Clinic team of a Mid-level Provider and Ortho Tech to create a welcoming and comfortable patient experience, ensuring patients get their questions answered and understands their journey to healing. To thrive in this role, you must have a Radiology Tech Permit to Practice in the state of Iowa, an active ARRT certification and a passion for the wellbeing of every patient you see. This position is located at our new Norwalk office opening summer 2026! Norwalk Urgent Injury Clinic hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 10am - 6pm, Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 8am-12pm. As the Norwalk UIC Rad Tech, you will be expected to cover at least 1 weekend per month, that you ultimately get to choose which Saturday you would like to work. Here’s What You Can Expect You’ll be on your feet most of the day greeting and preparing patients for their x-ray exam before operating the x-ray machine to capture high-quality images. You are the patient's kind guide and reliable helper during their appointment. Review images and make any necessary adjustments before sending them to the Mid-level provider. This is a private practice where you’ll have access to ask questions of the care team if you need any clarification. A small, close-knit team of professionals you can rely on who work closely with our doctors and staff to provide patient care we are proud of.

Requirements

  • A Radiology Tech permit to practice in the state of Iowa
  • Active ARRT certification
  • Communicate calmly and provide reassurance when patients are nervous
  • Listen, ask questions, and avoid interrupting your patient
  • Independent worker

Responsibilities
