About The Position

A registered professional technologist assigned responsibilities of performing diagnostic radiologic services for hospital patients as well as out-patients sent from the clinics or physicians' offices. HOURS: Weekend package available – $1000 for working the entire shift, on-call starts Friday at 5:00pm to Monday at 7:00am. Must work at least one weekend per quarter. Must be willing to work on-call weekends. Must stay within 30 minutes of facility during call weekend, rooms available on site. Additional hours available as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion Radiologic Technology School with ARRT board certification or eligibility to sit for boards and an Iowa Permit to Practice
• Good communication skills
• Flexibility in scheduling
• Ability to multitask
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to do continuous lifting (over 60 pounds) such as helping patient on x-ray table
• Good vision and verbal skills
• Must be able to perform well under pressure and to cope with a variety of situations

Nice To Haves

• CT experience
• Mammography experience
