About The Position

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a full time
Radiology Tech at our Scott
Orthopedic location. The primary purpose is to perform radiographic procedures
at a technical level not requiring constant
supervision of technical detail.
Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent
judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed radiation for
radiologic diagnosis. Assumes responsibilities for designated areas or
procedures as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Graduate of accredited AMA program/s for radiologic technology.
• Holder of a valid and current; 1. Registration by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and; 2. Licensed as required by the State of West Virginia.
• Previous work experience as Staff Radiologic Technologist desired but not absolutely essential.
• Uses a variety of stationary and mobile radiation producing diagnostic equipment and mechanical accessories.
• Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials and devices.
