About The Position

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is hiring a Radiology Technician to work FLEXI/PRN. Premium FLEXI Salary! The position will conduct all general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients. The department is open 24/7, and the technician will need to cover all three shifts (first, second, and third). Day shift training will approximately be 1-3 months depending on experience, and there will be a call-in rotation once training is done (generally 1-5 days per month).

Requirements

• Trade School Graduate - RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY
• ARRT registry or registry eligible graduate must obtain ARRT registry within 90 days of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct all general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients.
• Rotate in OR, fluoro, ER & pain management.
