About The Position

Under the direction of the Radiology Director and Manager, the position involves producing quality diagnostic medical radiographs, including OR, Flouro, Dexa, or EOS, to ensure proper diagnosis and quality patient care. The role requires adherence to safety and infection control standards, participation in continuing education, and providing excellent service to patients and colleagues.

Requirements

• Completion of Radiology program and ARRT-R within 6 months of hire date.
• Graduate of a Radiology Technology program and registry eligible.
• Two years Radiology Technology experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality images using appropriate exposure techniques.
• Document patient history and verify physician orders prior to exams.
• Perform OR/Surgery cases using C-arms and portable machines.
• Supervise and teach Radiology students during clinical rotations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and adhere to safety policies.
• Attend departmental in-services and meetings.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain certification.
• Provide excellent service to customers and follow confidentiality policies.
• Incorporate quality improvement into daily work.
• Use Hospital/Radiology Information system according to policy.

Benefits

• Sign On Bonus: $20,000 with >1 year’s experience, $15,000 with <1 year.
