About The Position

As a Radiology Technologist with HCA Florida University Hospital, you will perform a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. You will regulate the equipment used to expose the x-ray image, operate the CR unit, and send the image to PACS for verification. Additionally, you will perform and document screening, diagnostic, and invasive breast procedures as required by assignment, consistent with hospital, FDA, ACR, and department policies, while considering patient age, weight, and developmental needs. You will assist in the daily operation of the Radiology Department and establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, reporting to the shift supervisor.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification.
• Associate Degree in a relevant field.
