Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a two-year Radiologic Technology Program in an institution of higher learning.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• Image quality competency completion required within 90 days.
• Ability to accept on-call assignments and report to the facility within 45 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe environment and conducts patient education as necessary.
• Under the guidance of a site radiologist, and direct supervision of a licensed radiologic technologist, administers contrast agents according to site-specific protocols.
• Follows quality assurance guidelines and maintains patient confidentiality.
• Produces diagnostic procedures on anatomical regions in accordance with accepted standards of practice and protocols of the individual site radiologist.
