About The Position

Haymarket Surgery Center is a leading multispecialty surgical facility dedicated to providing top-tier outpatient surgical care. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Radiology Technician (PRN) to support our team on an as-needed basis, ensuring high-quality imaging services for our patients. Position Overview: The Radiology Technician is responsible for performing imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety. The ideal candidate demonstrates longevity in past roles and excels in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Requirements

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification (Required)
Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)
Experience: Demonstrated longevity in past roles preferred (stability and reliability are highly valued)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a surgical or outpatient setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality radiologic imaging procedures as needed
Ensure proper positioning, technique, and radiation safety measures
Maintain and operate radiology equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards
Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff to provide imaging support during procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
