About The Position

The Radiology Tech position at Miami Valley Hospital South involves independently performing diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. The role requires working under the scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. The Radiology Tech coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Radiology Department, exercising professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition. The position may also involve performing procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs and may include on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology.
• CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT RT (R) registry required.
• ODH licensure required.

• One year experience in a medical/patient care environment.

Responsibilities
