Following a major expansion, Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valley's capacity tripled, now housing 171 beds to serve our growing community. This is the heartbeat of our organization and your time will be spent in a supportive, team environment with resources to help you flourish and leaders who care about your success. -Provides health care services, applying radiation energy to assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients. -Performs diagnostic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed healthcare provider. -Exercises professional judgement in the performance of these services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethical principles.-Provides appropriate patient care and monitors patient conditions essential for successful completion of any procedure. Care is provided to infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This position may not perform any fluoroscopy exams nor administer any form of contrast media. In addition to imaging duties, helps with registration of patients, and assists with patient procedures such as splinting.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with the patient and the healthcare team
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public and health care team
  • Vision sufficient to read medical records, instruments, documentation, and visual changes in patientcondition
  • Hearing sufficient to interact with patients who may be unable to speak at normal voice level
  • State of employment Limited Scope Operator
  • Second year student enrolled in approved Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers required
