About The Position

The Lab/X-Ray Tech is a dual-role healthcare professional responsible for performing both phlebotomy (the collection of blood samples) and radiologic imaging (X-ray) procedures. The Lab/X-Ray Tech is responsible for maintaining laboratory and x-ray equipment, supplies, and x-ray records, and procedures in accordance with OSHA, CLIA, The Joint Commission and other applicable standards. This position requires versatility, technical skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care. Requirements

  • Ability and willingness to be cross-trained in laboratory and imaging functions, as applicable
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety standards, infection control, and HIPAA compliance
  • This is a Safety Sensitive Position and Medical Marijuana card is prohibited according to Act 593
  • Facial piercing are not allowed.

Nice To Haves

  • Current Arkansas Radiologic Technologist (RT) license
  • Certified Phlebotomist will be considered if an RT is not available
  • Previous experience with phlebotomy and blood collection preferred
  • Ability to obtain a Limited X-Ray License if not currently licensed (preferred but not required)
