Requirements

  • Registered in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State of Kansas RT licensure, or temporary permit issued by KS State Board of Healing Arts upon hire.
  • ARRT-R is required.
  • Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
  • Current BCLS (AHA).
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program required, JRCERT accreditation preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Current CRT ARRT & Fluoroscopy permit. (California Only)

Nice To Haves

  • At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program required, JRCERT accreditation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to department protocols, HFAP/TJC/local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations.
  • Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
  • Participates in PI/QC activities.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
