Radiology Tech I Student Trainee (PRN)
About The Position
Under the direct Supervision of a Registered Radiologic Technologist, the Radiologic Technologist I Student Trainee delivers a high standard of care in the treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation and care of patients. Effectively communicates and interacts with all members of the healthcare team, including patients, family, radiology staff, physicians, nurses and other allied health personnel. Follows prescribed techniques for assisting with general and specific X-rays. Arranges immobilization and support devices to obtain position of patient for desired results. Participates in continuing education programs and community educational programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Actively enrolled in an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and maintains eligibility to sit for Radiologic Registry exam.
- CPR Certification.
- Experience in the field of radiology.
- Training in typing, computer skills, and medical terminology.
