About The Position

The Radiology Tech will independently perform diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. This role works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. The Radiology Tech will coordinate patient flow and the activities of the Radiology Department, exercising professional judgment in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition. Additionally, the position may require performing procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs and may involve on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology.
• CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT RT (R) registry required.
• ODH licensure required.

• One year experience in a medical/patient care environment.
