About The Position

Join Oklahoma Heart Hospital, a leader in advanced cardiac care, as a Radiology Tech / Radiologic Technologist in our Cardiac Cath Lab. This position is classified as a safety-sensitive position, which means OHH reasonably believes this position could affect the safety and health of her or her own self and others.

Requirements

  • Education: Two year AMA approved program in Radiographic Technology, AS or BS degree.
  • Licensure/Certification: ARRT and BLS required. ACLS required within 18 months of hire.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of continuous cardiac cath lab experience preferred.
  • Working Knowledge: Able to perform at a proficient level all radiology procedures related to the cardiac cath lab in both acute and stable patients.

Nice To Haves

  • Able to scrub, assist, and perform all other tasks as needed to perform all cases in the cath lab to include electro physiology, pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and interventions within the scope of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality radiology procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, following all radiation safety and quality standards.
  • Support physicians and nursing staff during both emergency and elective procedures.
  • Provide focused patient care for both acute and stable cardiac patients.
  • Accurately document procedures and communicate results promptly to the care team.
  • Function as a monitor/recorder during surgical cases.
  • Participate in regular equipment checks, maintenance, and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Cath Lab team leader, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Assist with staff cross-training, process improvement projects, and hospital-wide initiatives.
  • Uphold OHH's mission, values, and commitment to excellence in cardiac imaging.
  • Support other hospital areas as needed to ensure continuity of care.
