About The Position

The Rad Tech-Cardio Vascular-Cath Lab position at Atrium Medical Center involves performing advanced practice cardiac catheterization and peripheral angiography, electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures. The role includes providing peri-procedural care and education for patients, assisting cardiologists and other specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, and maintaining records and documentation for procedures. The position requires consistent performance of duties and full training in both the Cath lab and EP lab.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Health Science with a major in Radiology and/or Cardiovascular Technology.
• Amer Reg of Radiologic Tech certification.
• Licensed Radiology Technologist certification.
• BLS – Basic Life Support certification.
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.
• 1 - 3 years of job-related experience in Special Procedures, Cardiovascular Laboratory, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography.
• Conduct electrophysiologic studies and therapeutic interventional procedures.
• Implant cardiac devices.
• Provide peri-procedural care and education for patients.
• Assist cardiologists and other specialists during procedures.
• Maintain records and documentation for procedures.
