About The Position

Diagnostic Imaging Centers is seeking a high-energy, upbeat Medical Assistant to support our busy MR/CT department in Overland Park. This MR/CT Technologist Assistant / Medical Assistant role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. As a Medical Assistant in our MR/CT department, you will play a key role in supporting both patients and technologists throughout the day. The Medical Assistant is essential in helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for from arrival through exam completion. As a Medical Assistant, you’ll work in a locally owned, radiologist-owned imaging center where teams are supportive, leadership is approachable, and patient-centered care is always the priority.

Requirements

Medical Assistant Certificate or Degree

Nice To Haves

Experienced in venipuncture (strongly preferred / highly needed)
Energetic, positive, and dependable
A strong communicator with excellent patient care skills
A proactive self-starter who jumps in where needed
Organized and able to keep up in a busy imaging environment
A true team player who supports coworkers and patients alike

Responsibilities

Assisting MR and CT technologists with patient flow and exam preparation
Performing venipuncture for contrast injections (highly preferred and strongly needed)
Preparing patients for exams, including screening and education
Turning over exam rooms quickly and efficiently
Maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment
Providing exceptional, compassionate patient care
Communicating clearly and professionally with patients and team members
Supporting smooth workflow across the MR/CT department
