Job Summary The Supervisor, Radiology Ultrasound is responsible for supervising staff and assisting the Director with the administration of the Ultrasound and OBUS departments.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
+3 years of Ultrasound experience, preferably in a hospital environment
+2 years of supervisory experience, leading people and/or processes, preferably in a hospital environment
Current AART registration. TMB for MRT required
BLS: Basic Life Skills Certification
Able to exercise independent judgement, and prioritize workload
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Able to motivate others and work well under stress
Ability to work closely with senior leaders while developing a cohesive team focused on patient quality and satisfaction

Responsibilities

Participate in all manager responsibilities including but not limited to hiring, scheduling, coaching, training, performance management, employee engagement, and disciplinary actions
Working manager, providing excellent patient care while leading and mentoring others
Ensure department operates as economically as possible; Reduce overtime pay, flex staff as needed and ensure supplies are being used appropriately; Increase department volume
Work with Director to improve and maintain high scores on all surveys and hospital initiatives
Complete all required tasks that include but not limited to, Kronos, Supply ordering, Staff competency, RSMAS, RT Solutions, and staff licensures
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
