The Radiology Student Intern has an exciting opportunity to integrate their educational experience in the clinical setting. The Radiology Student Intern will be directly supervised in performing exams until he/she has successfully achieved competency in each specific exam. When competency is obtained, the Radiology Student Intern may work under indirect supervision. The Radiology Student Intern consistently demonstrates the quality performance of diagnostic imaging procedures. This is inclusive of room preparation, equipment operation, and physician assistance during imaging procedures, image development and image manipulation. Secondary duties include patient transportation, clerical/receptionist duties, stocking supplies, procedure room cleanliness, and participating in quality improvement activities.
