Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Previous experience in Radiology Procedural Nursing or Emergency Department Nursing preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- TNCC preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and prepare patients for procedures, infusions, or stress testing
- Administer medications, as ordered
- Monitor patients during and after procedures, stress testing, or infusions, recognizing and responding to complications
- Start and manage IV lines and maintain vascular access
- Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, providers, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
- Work one emergency shift per week
