About The Position

Baystate Health is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join the Radiology team in Enfield. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at providing excellent service to patients, including greeting them, managing check-ins and check-outs, and handling insurance verifications. The position is integral to ensuring a smooth patient experience in a fast-paced medical environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a medical receptionist preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and scheduling systems.
• Basic math skills and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in and check-out processes.
• Request copays and verify insurance information.
• Answer telephones and fax medical documents.
• Assist with various administrative tasks as needed.
