About The Position

The Radiology RN III is an advanced licensed clinician and functions at the
proficient level. Provides expert, high-quality nursing care to patients
undergoing diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology (IR) procedures.
Includes comprehensive assessments, patient education, IV access and sedation
monitoring, post-procedure recovery, and timely emergency
interventions.Collaborates closely with radiologists, technologists, and the
interprofessional care team to ensure safe, effective care before, during, and
after procedures. As a clinical expert and leader, the RN III coaches and
mentors staff, role-models compassionate communication, and contributes to
professional practice improvements at the bedside, unit, and organizational
levels. Responsibilities may include serving as charge nurse, leading unit-based
or shared governance activities, coordinating education, and acting as a
clinical resource to drive high-quality patient outcomes and a positive work
environment.
