Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to type 30 words per minute.
• Previous experience using computer applications.
• Previous experience in a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to function independently.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize in a logical manner.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the usage of medical terminology.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Prior clerical experience, preferably in radiology or other hospital/medical office environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the use of medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Distributes and maintains control of radiology imaging results and performs related clerical duties.
• Assists physicians, patients, hospital staff, and others with requests for imaging results
• Works with physician offices to coordinate retrieval of images and/or reports
• Maintains image and report tracking system.
